整个项目的设计空间是一个清末的兵工厂空间，原建筑基础老旧，项目设计改造受限条件多，同时由于文物保护得要求，空间钢结构落柱不能破坏原有建筑结构，要离所有建筑柱有1.5米得距离。没有传统的设计一个开敞的展览空间，而是设计成了一个廊空间。以清新、亮丽、现代为基调而形成轻盈、活泼的建筑形态，打破混凝土方盒带来的凝重和沉闷，追求以设计手法在室内空间能呈现建筑的整体雄伟造型，和新古典主义特征的法式风格。建筑的单层层高为5.1米，在这个老建筑的框架结构基础上，利用那个时代特有的柱帽结构，所以我们设计了一个交叉型拱券顶的廊，一举打开了项目改造平面上的“僵局”，那么原本BOJEM定义的珠宝艺术中心也就变成了珠宝艺术廊的概念。空间上尽可能得少用石材，表面基层以建筑真石漆作为立面材料，实用且造价成本低；地面用了青花砖，一方面贴合民国特有的那个时代所表达的中西方文化得融合，另一方面部分吊顶用了水波纹不锈钢，这种传统空间中的材料的突兀，是传统与现代得一种视觉冲突和对比；橱窗的展示则全部用了纸雕来作为珠宝的展示场景。

Based on the frame structure of the old building and the unique column cap structure of that era, we designed a cross arched Gallery, which opened the "deadlock" on the plane of the project. Then the Jewelry Art Center originally defined by bojem has become the concept of jewelry art gallery.

As far as space is concerned, stones should be used as little as possible. The surface base is made of building stone paint, which is practical and low-cost. On the one hand, blue and white bricks are used to integrate Chinese and Western cultures expressed in the era of the Republic of China. On the other hand, some suspended ceilings are made of corrugated stainless steel. This kind of material in traditional space is a combination of tradition and modernity The paper carvings are used in the display of jewelry.
